Management Team

Due to the pending resolution of the security situation in the Ivory Coast, the team members for Agritech Ivoire are still in the process of being selected. We hope to have a team completed by the end of 2011.

For the moment, we work with three groups involved in Jatropha cultivation in order to organize the collection of  jatropha seeds and the identification of land for lease or purchase.

1. AGRI-AMENAGISTE :  managed by M. Fofana Daouda, this company is mostly active in the north of Ivory Coast near the Burkina Faso border

2. Union des producteurs de Jatropha de Côte d’Ivoire, UPROJACI : This association, active in the north and the center of Ivory Coast, was founded by M. Sekou Koné its  President and  M. Traore Pascal, its Treasurer.

3. The Cooperative of Meagui : Based in the south near the port of San Pedro where Agritech plans to set up its extraction plant, the cooperative counts over 2000 active members. We have been provided with their list of the mature plantations and have committed to purchase the seeds produced. To date 500 tons of seeds have already been made available for Agritech.
