In 2009, Agritech Group Holdings International (AGHI) was created to provide a common corporate framework to share knowledge, transfer technology, provide access to capital markets, and ensure coherent governance of the Group’s enterprises.
- Agritech Faso
After more than a year of planning and development work, Agritech Faso, the first company within the Agritech Group, started formal operations in Burkina Faso during the latter half of 2007.
Since then, Agritech has built an organization second to none. Our hands-on experience has sharpened our implementation skills, including: effective training delivery, community organization, land selection and acquisition, seedling nurseries construction and operation, planting and cultivation methodologies, integrated agricultural practices, and water management, among other practical techniques.
- Agritech Benin
Agritech Benin started its operations one year after Agritech Faso. In 2008 Agritech signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Government of Benin to develop an integrated bio-energy project to supply the public grid.
- Agritech Togo
Agritech’s extension into the neighboring ECOWAS countries of Togo and Ivory Coast are currently being supported by Agritech Faso and Agritech Benin. However, Agritech Togo and Agritech Ivoire are in the process of formation.
